Batemans Bay Writers Festival Volunteers share the experience

Dear book lovers, readers and writers all,
Being part of a Writers and Readers Festival is something many of us can only dream about!
But whether you are someone who just needs a good book to curl up with, or some one to whom writing comes as naturally as breathing, you can discover how easy it is to be involved by volunteering for a wide range of tasks at our very own Batemans Bay Writers Festival!
Following on from the popularity of last year’s event in Batemans Bay, at which over hundreds of book lovers and their friends mingled – not only to enjoy the delights of our relaxing and pristine environment, but to learn through words, stories, passionate debates, thoughts and new books. This years Festival promises even more delights.
The terrific program of numerous sessions with sensational authors will be held at the Coach House Marina Resort (Beach Road, Batemans Bay). We still want you to buy your Platinum or Weekend Pass, however we are asking you to commit whatever time you can to make each of these sessions run smoothly and enjoyably for all.
Volunteer tasks include welcoming and informing guests, hosting and attending author sessions, assisting in book handling, transporting people and helping them park cars. In return for a little effort, you will be amply rewarded – read on!
Benefits of volunteering include:
  • The opportunity to meet new people in stimulating surroundings
  • The chance to host and attend sessions of your choice
  • Meeting and talking with Festival authors
So stop dreaming – volunteer today to be part of the Batemans Bay Writers Festival at the Coach House Marina Resort Friday and Sunday.
Looking forward to hearing from you! Give us your details below and we will be in touch.
