This go-to-whoa workshop will begin with techniques to overcome writers block and describe how to set up essential writing support systems. It will then cover the basics of having a writing project plan, using planning software, filling the creative well, and day-to-day tips and tricks to keep the words flowing. It will look at how to be productive and happy through each of the different stages of writing (research, drafting, revision and editing). Finally, the workshop will cover aspects of manuscript appraisal and publishing, including submitting your manuscript to a publisher and how to self-publish. Suitable for everyone, at any stage of writing fiction or non-fiction, this workshop will affirm the vital role that writing plays in our lives.
