Peter Freeman is a conservation architect, author, historian, illustrator and publisher. He has lived on the South Coast for more than ten years. The Wallpapered Manse is his thirteenth book, and he is currently researching a book about Domain House in Hobart.
The Wallpapered Manse tells the story of a former Presbyterian Manse in Moruya and how it was rescued by Sydney Living Museums and given new life as a private residence. In doing so Peter not only traces the history of a delightful 1860s cottage, but also tells the story of a town and its community.
